#401 Missouri Breaks
Outside of St. Louis, there are stores worthy of a visit including stores in Kansas City, Columbia, and the town of Independence. Kansas City is another foundation location of American music, from Count Basie and Charlie Parker to alternative rock bands, classic rock and EMO. By the banks of the Missouri River, the music plays on.

That Mile High City at the foot of the Rockies, has a vibrant economy and impressive music retail stores. Along with Denver’s stand-out TWIST & SHOUT store, there’s also ANGELO’S, MOWMAN’S VINYL LOUNGE, and the outpost originally from Chicago – WAX TRAX. Rocky Mountain High, Ya’ll.
#403 The New Jersey Connection
In New Jersey, we’ll investigate both the retail as well as the wholesale world of Vinyl. Music industry veteran Steve Parelman has created his 33-½ RECORDS, a major supplier to indie stores around the world. And of course, New Jersey has fine retail stores such as PRINCETON RECORD EXCHANGE, THE RECORD COLLECTOR, and RANDY NOW’S MAN CAVE.
#404 Boston - By The River Charles
Decades old indie stores, STEREO JACK’S and PLANET RECORDS are a must visit for anyone going to Boston. Then, Papa Ray and the crew visit two of the most unique alternative stores they’ve ever been to - LOONEY TUNES and ARMEGEDDON RECORDS.
#405 New Orleans
Tom and Vintage Vinyl have a unique relationship with one of the finest record stores in New Orleans, EUCLID RECORDS. The crew then visits stores like LOUISIANA MUSIC FACTORY and the surprisingly unique SISTERS IN CHRIST (Hint: This store is nothing that you’ll find in a convent). Viewers will be pleasantly surprised with some music veterans that visit these stores, such as Irma Thomas, The Neville’s, Trombone Shorty, and Kermit Ruffin—They’ve seen it all—and in NOLA, that says multitudes.

Over the years, it’s only become a more popular and mystical musical experience as the vinyl resurgence has taken over retail
