Education is the heart of public media. One of our strategic priorities at NETA is to support public media stations in developing the capacity to deliver educational programming and services to their local communities, and across the country.
NETA supports public television stations, independent producers, and education partners by delivering educational programming with direct connections to classrooms. We also convene public media professionals around emerging education needs and sharing best practices.
We are currently focusing our attention on educational media for youth ages 8-18+ (grades 3-12+) in a range of topics including civics, history, science, literacy, and the arts, along with timely topics including social justice, remote learning, and more.
