Join the Cyber PLC for an engaging session with Teresa E. Banks, CISM, manager of information security and compliance programs at the University of Arizona.
Banks brings nearly two decades of experience in information security and compliance, having served at the University of Arizona since 2002 and on its Information Security team since 2008. As a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), she leads strategic initiatives in end-user security training and risk management, partnering across academic, business, and IT units to strengthen security posture and mitigate risk. Recognized as a collaborative leader and trusted advisor, she is passionate about advancing security awareness and best practices.
In this session, Banks will cover:
- The history of information security at the University of Arizona
- Tools and best practices
- Iterative progress in securing campus through strategic planning and project management
- Specific challenges around compliance
- The importance of building relationships across campus to get things done (Banks will share her “secret sauce”)

Join GBH and NETA to learn about the new and improved resources from Playtime with the Wombats!, a community initiative that seeks to engage young children in active play around computation thinking (CT). Thanks to station feedback, GBH has updated these resources to feature an improved design, making the resources more flexible and easier to transport and use. They’ve also added some new elements, including an activity passport for kids, a parent brochure, Wombats badges, and more.
Join us for this webinar to learn how you can order a free Wombats Family Activity Pop-Up and a supply of Family Playtime Kits. Members of GBH Education’s research team will also review the type of feedback they will ask stations to help gather from families and community partners.

In 2026, America will celebrate the 250th anniversary of our founding as a nation. In preparation for this semiquincentennial, GBH is launching America’s Awesome Kids, an initiative that seeks to capture and showcase a wide range of kids (ages 8-10) and their unique geographies, customs, interests, skills, and experiences. GBH is looking to partner with local public media stations to find real kids – one in 25 different states – to feature in 3-5 minute videos that will be distributed on PBS KIDS platforms.
