#101 The Wilder Homestead
Go back in time to the mid-1800s, to a simple homestead outside of the town of Malone, New York. In Franklin County. This storybook location was made internationally famous by a woman who never set foot on the farmland - author of the Little House on the Prairie book series, Laura Ingalls Wilder. The Wilder Homestead is the boyhood home of her husband Almanzo Wilder.

#102 The International Motor Racing Research Center
Come along on a ‘one of a kind’ drive through history… back to a legendary post-WWII European-style road race, that wound through the village streets and around the spectacular gorge at Watkins Glen State Park. And we’ll explore the International Motor Racing Research Center. A world class library and archive that is a preeminent academic destination for hundreds of scholars, journalists, authors, and filmmakers from around the globe.

#103 Safe Haven
Fort Ontario in Oswego, N.Y. has a storied history, playing a role in the French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. But most notably, it was the only shelter in the United States for Jewish refugees fleeing the Holocaust. Together, the Education Center and the physical Fort provide an experiential learning opportunity for visitors as they follow the story of 982 mainly Jewish refugees who fled Europe, arriving in Oswego through the US Government Safe Haven program. In this episode, tour the exhibits and artifacts of the Safe Haven Museum and Education center.

This episode will take you to a combined ‘zoo-quarium, museum and education center located in the beautiful Adirondack mountains. The Wild Center has won numerous awards, from Innovative building design and construction to tourism excellence, to youth climate program recognition, and many Museum Awards. The Wild Center makes the most of its spectacular surroundings as on ramps for people to create a passion for nature.

The Alfred Ceramic Art Museum seamlessly blends academics and art to create a space where research, education and creativity intersect.

#106 Eisenhower Lock Visitors Center
The St. Lawrence Seaway is one of the world’s maritime superhighways, linking the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean. The Dwight D Eisenhower Lock Visitors Center, located directly beside the lock in Massena New York, is a new interactive museum portraying the story of the Seaway's legacy and history. Celebrating the Seaway’s engineering significance, economic impacts, and community engagement, it draws tens of thousands of visitors each year.
