REFRESH QUEST hunts for Moldavite at the Tucson Rock and Mineral Show.

Long:
Host Jeremy Maupin and his brother Nathan visit the annual Rock and Mineral Show in Tucson,
Arizona, to hunt the extraterrestrial meteorite tektite, called moldavite. While on the hunt and
around town, the two find and meet a few professional collectors and dealers who share their
knowledge and experience about this fascinating and mysterious space rock that is truly out of
this world.

Refresh Quest explores the Mother Lode region of California, following Highway 49 through
some of the most historic and famous gold-rich towns, communities, and areas dating back to
the first gold discovery of 1848. Along this journey, Refresh Quest meets Gary Bailey, a modern
day gold prospector who demonstrates a few tips on how to gold pan while explaining that the
"real gold” is the land itself.

Refresh Quest continues their golden adventure exploring the past, present, and future of the
Mother Lode region of California by speaking with local residents that have made this place
their home. And oddly enough, the phrase “seeing the elephant” comes full circle when they
discover a nearby captive wildlife sanctuary where real-live elephants roam free in the heart of
this historic and beautiful land.

REFRESH QUEST takes a spontaneous Midwest trip, discovering fishing, gems, and vintage marbles.

Long:
A spontaneous, unplanned travel trip through three mid-west states provides Refresh Quest
the opportunity for an unexpected adventure. Finding a midnight fishing expedition, the largest
stone and gem grotto in the world, and a vintage toy marble collection are just a few of the
surprises along this fun and interesting come-what-may road trip.

#205 Froggin’ Good Time
Short:
REFRESH QUEST joins Calaveras County’s frog jumping contest for fun and a $20,000 prize.

Long:
The Refresh Quest team travels to Calaveras County, California, to celebrate and participate in
the old-time tradition of frog jumping dating back to the early 1900’s at a local county fair near
Angels Camp. After watching and learning from the pros, the team jumps at the chance to
compete for the grand prize of twenty thousand dollars if they beat the current world’s record
held since 1986. Win or lose, everyone goes home having a froggin’ good time.

#206 Waterfall Holiday
Short:
REFRESH QUEST explores Northern California’s famous Waterfall Loop.

Long:
On summer holiday, host Jeremy Maupin and his partner Stacey set out to cool off on Northern
California’s famous waterfall loop, which includes some of the most beautiful water
destinations the state has to offer, in particular waterfalls. Along this two-day journey, they
stop off to explore, discover, and learn about some of the most popular and off the beaten
path refreshing water attractions in the area.

#207 Hangin’ At The Haggin
Short:
REFRESH QUEST visits the Haggin Museum in Stockton, California.

Long:
A nostalgic road trip back to Jeremy’s childhood city provided an opportunity to visit the nearby
Haggin Museum with two friends, Cynthia Ochoa and Jonathan Clever. Once inside, the group
explores art and history from the late 19th and early 20th centuries that primarily focus on the
city of Stockton and the state of California. With the help of their imagination, they transport
themselves in and out of the museum, exploring in greater detail a few of the museum’s display
pieces that have a special connection to the local area.
