Robert "Bob" Winteringham has over 25 years working in public media. He regularly advises grantees about compliance with grant terms.
He is the founder, counsel, and consultant at the Public Media Consulting Group and former Special Counsel for the law firm of Fletcher Heald & Hildreth. Prior to that, he was the Corporation for Public Broadcasting’s Deputy General Counsel from 2005 - 2013 after serving as CPB’s Acting General Counsel in 2005. In total, he worked as an attorney in CPB's Office of General Counsel from 1997 to 2013.
While at CPB, he coordinated and drafted CPB’s responses to OIG Audit Reports. He also assisted CPB with implementing OIG audit response and compliance policies as well as drafted numerous provisions in CPB grant agreements and the CSG General Provisions and Eligibility Criteria.
