#2901 YAGODY and Tom Lynn
YAGODY is a Ukrainian folk band known for blending traditional village songs with theatrical performance and rich vocal harmonies. Their music often draws on authentic folklore, ritual themes, and expressive storytelling, creating a haunting, immersive sound rooted in Ukrainian heritage. The three original vocalists of YAGODY, Zoriana Dybovska, Vasylyna Voloshyn, and Tetiana Voitiv plus accordionist Nadiia Parashchuk continue their mission to preserve and breathe new life into Ukrainian folk songs and traditions from around the world.

Tom Lynn is a traditional folk and roots songwriter from the nation of Moldova (bordering Ukraine and Romania) who grew up in Michigan. Tom graduated from the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music in Morehead. He will be supported and backed up by members of the McLain Family Band.

Wyatt Ellis is an incredible 15-year-old mandolin master and bluegrass emerging superstar. He recently premiered on the Grand Ole Opry, performing with symphony orchestras and jamming with Marty Stuart, Billy Strings, Peter Rowan, Michael Cleveland and more.

The Weeping Willows are an Australian husband-and-wife duo. They have won three Golden Guitar awards in Australia and were awarded Best Act at the Music Victoria Awards and at the Australian Folk Music Awards. They are touring America and coming to WoodSongs with a new album, YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.

WoodSongs Kid: Reese Carroll is a 13-year-old banjo player from Nicholasville, Kentucky.


#2903 John Berry and Mean Mary
John Berry is a renowned country music star known for his heartfelt ballads and rich, almost operatic voice. With a career spanning decades, he has earned acclaim for hits like “Your Love Amazes Me” and “Standing on the Edge of Goodbye.”

Mean Mary is an award-winning pioneer, frailing banjo master, and fan favorite (with over 35 million views on her YouTube videos). A former child prodigy who played for tips on the streets of Nashville, she is now a seasoned performer and headliner of over 4,000 festivals and concerts. No Depression says she has “the voice of a ragged angel combined with the banjo playing of the devil.”

Charlie Musselwhite is a Grammy Award-winning blues harmonica virtuoso, singer, and songwriter renowned for his expressive playing and deep-rooted contributions to American blues music. Born in Mississippi and raised in Memphis, he has released over 20 albums and collaborated with legends like Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, and Howlin’ Wolf as a pivotal figure in the blues genre.

Pete Mancini is a NYC singer-songwriter whose music blends Americana, drawing comparisons to artists like Tom Petty and John Prine. He has opened for greats such as Los Lobos, Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, andLarry Campbell & Theresa Williams. Mancini has released several acclaimed solo albums.

#2905 Ben Sollee and Scott T. Smith
Ben Sollee is a Kentucky cellist, songwriter, and composer known for his political activism. His music incorporates banjo, guitar, and mandolin along with percussion and unusual cello techniques. His songs exhibit a mix of folk, bluegrass, jazz, and R&B. His new album is titled TIME ON HOLD.

Scott T. Smith is a folk and Americana singer-songwriter originally from Hurricane, West Virginia, now based in Louisville, Kentucky. With roots as a preacher’s kid and a background in choral music, Scott blends bluegrass, gospel, and alt-country into a soulful sound marked by heartfelt storytelling and powerful vocals.

Appalachian Roadshow is a powerhouse bluegrass band combining the talents of lead singer and banjoist Barry Abernathy, tenor singer and mandolinist Darrell Webb, Grammy Award-winning fiddler Jim VanCleve, and Zeb Snyder on guitar. Their sound is rooted deeply in Appalachian tradition, honoring classic bluegrass while pushing it forward with modern drive and personality.

Jessica Willis Fisher is an Americana and folk artist whose songwriting blends Appalachian roots, gospel influence, and raw emotional honesty. Her music is marked by graceful fiddle work and a powerful voice reflecting resilience, faith, and perseverance. Jessica is also an advocate for survivors of trauma as well as the author of UNSPEAKABLE: SURVIVING MY CHILDHOOD AND FINDING MY VOICE.

#2908 Mike Farris and Brenna MacMillan
Mike Farris is a roots music hero, a Grammy-winning songwriter, and a founding member of The Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies. He comes to WoodSongs with his first album since 2018, the 2025 release The Sound of Muscle Shoals. Farris made the pilgrimage that many soul shakers and stirrers—like the Rolling Stones, Chris Stapelton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and even Cher—have made before him: across the O’Neal Bridge and over the Tennessee River, straight into the creative vortex of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and right up to the door of the legendary Fame Studios.

Brenna Macmillan, originally from Winchester, Kentucky, began playing banjo at the age of nine. Brenna performed frequently in the Lexington area, which led to opening for J.D. Crowe and Bobby Osborne. She performs songs from her debut album, DEAR LIFE.

Matt Andersen is an award-winning Canadian blues guitarist and the first Canadian to win the International Blues Challenge. He has won multiple Maple Blues Awards and the European Blues Award for Best Solo/Acoustic performer, and has received multiple JUNO nominations (the Canadian Grammys). Matt has shared the stage and toured with blues legends Bo Diddley, Buddy Guy, Gregg Allman, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Randy Bachman, Little Feat, Jonny Lang, and Beth Hart. He will feature songs from his new album, THE HAMMER & THE ROSE.

Elizabeth Mccorvey is a talented instrumentalist, vocalist, and licensed clinical social worker from Asheville, NC. Her father, Everett, heads the UK Opera. She blends blues, folk, Appalachian, and Latin influences into one unique sound. She has written original, story-driven songs like “Phenomenal” and “Lighthouse.”

LIZA LO Is a singer-songwriter, producer, and musician based in London. Her raw vocals and honest songwriting invite listeners into a space of reflection and calm. Her poignant work explores themes of vulnerability and strength, touching on personal experiences including the loss of a friend, a brain injury, moving away from her home in Europe, and her time spent living in Mallorca, Spain, and Amsterdam.

Jack Barksdale is a songwriter from Texas. Inspired by folk, rock, and blues legends, Jack started performing original music at the age of nine and has already shared the stage with Wynonna Judd, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Junior Brown, and Hayes Carll. Jack plays guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, mandolin, piano, and ukulele, but identifies first and foremost as a songwriter with lyrics wise beyond his years.

Brent Maher is a seven-time Grammy-winning producer, songwriter, and musician. A longtime collaborator of The Judds, Maher helped to define their sound and co-wrote some of their biggest hits, including “Why Not Me” and “Girls Night Out.” He has worked with Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, Roy Orbison, and many others. His newly released musical novel, Night Of The Orphan Train, tells the untold story of over 250,000 homeless orphans who were swept off the streets of New York City and shipped off on boxcars to every state in the Union between the late 1800s ==and== the early 1920s.

Trey Hensley is a Grammy-winning artist and two-time 2025 IBMA Guitar Player of the Year. He has collaborated with extraordinary artists such as Johnny Cash, Vince Gill, Dolly Parton, Marty Stuart, Earl Scruggs, Tommy Emmanuel, Peter Frampton, Steve Martin, Molly Tuttle, and Rob Ickes. Hensley recently won Best Traditional Blues Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards as a member of The Taj Mahal Sextet for their album SWINGIN’ LIVE AT THE CHURCH IN TULSA.

WoodSongs Kids: Megan Taylor plays in the style of her great-uncle, Country Music Hall of Fame member Chet Atkins. Playing together with her three kids, they will perform a couple of songs from Brent’s musical novel, NIGHT OF THE ORPHAN TRAIN.

Admiral Radio's name was inspired by the duo's 1941 wooden ADMIRAL RADIO. The South Carolina-based duo Coty Hoover and Becca Smith are currently “making waves” as their Johnny Cash and June Carter charm expands beyond the Southeast to listeners nationwide and on WoodSongs.
