The documentary follows 3 breast cancer survivors who've had mastectomies and get tattoos to cover their scars. We see their breasts at various times as we establish the medical issues they seek to fix with the tattoos, as well as the tattooing process and end results. As the film points out, though, as a result of these surgeries they don't look like normal breasts. The nudity is clinical; there's nothing obscene or sexual about their portrayal. No real nipples are shown in this documentary, only tattooed representations.
