Chet explores one the prettiest rivers in Texas with a swim and a hike at Garner State Park. He tubes the river and gets a delicious burger at a family-friendly biker bar. He sips inside Texas’s only wine cave, eats a chicken fried steak at a 100-year-old restaurant, and wraps the day two-stepping under the Texas at the famous Garner dance.

Chet visits this US-Mexico border town that dates back to 1765. He explores its landmark downtown and sips agave spirits in an old general store. He goes birding with local experts on the river and at Falcon State Park. He also eats amazing Mexican food and cabrito.

Chet hits the beach during the cold months to explore the town’s rich history. He eats local oysters at one of the oldest restaurants in Texas. He hunts down elusive birds at Galveston State Park and eats a muffaleta at a famous spice company. He then checks into the island's iconic (and haunted) Hotel Galvez.
