“After Mountains” is the story of the young Ellie, who meets Noah, another kid of her age, while visiting her sick grandpa at the hospital with her mom. Through a child’s eyes, this short will explore the themes of grief, as well as intergenerational conflicts and misunderstandings that can occur while facing a family crisis.
“Gearheads” follows the story of Browner Sound, a company that has been producing high-quality audio gear for over 10 years. Through interviews and conversations with the founders, we get an inside look into the development process and the passion of the people behind the product. Gearheads offers an engaging story of how an idea became a reality, and how the business has grown to become what it is today. This story is an inspiring and informative look at a company that puts passion and craftsmanship into every product.

“Open Dialogues Queer Allies” features the stories and lived experiences of people who identify as LGBTQ+ (Queer) and those who love and support them. Through deeply moving interviews and performances that represent a diverse range of allyship perspectives, Queer Allies illustrates the power of human empathy to change lives. With a performance by Dance Now! Miami and a reading by Terry Dyer from his book, “Letters to a Gay Black Boy.”

Things get worse when Ma finds out that she’s about to get evicted and Santi loses the money they need to save their lot.

“Monarcas” is the story of two Guatemalan day laborers in Homestead, FL whose fight against wage theft in their community takes them on a journey of personal transformation.
“Village Free(dge).” As Covid-19 leaves Miami’s Liberty City neighborhood under siege, Sherina Jones tirelessly combats food insecurity. With community support, she fights daily to keep the Village Free(dge) filled.
