PBS KIDS Presents "Molly of Denali"

PBS KIDS Presents "Molly of Denali"

Wednesday Breakfast 7:30 - 8:30 AM

Kick off your morning with an introduction to the newest PBS KIDS series, MOLLY OF DENALI, the first nationally distributed children’s series in the U.S. to feature a Native American lead character, with Alaska Native peoples involved in all aspects of production. The show follows Molly Mabray, a feisty and resourceful Alaska Native girl, her dog Suki and her friends Tooey and Trini on their daily adventures in Alaska. Designed for children ages 4-8, MOLLY OF DENALI will help kids learn through an informational text curriculum. A CPB and Ready To Learn grant-funded series, MOLLY OF DENALI will offer fun and informative episodes – and also deep-touch community engagement materials, learning resources for teachers and parents and a plethora of digital assets.

Meet the MOLLY OF DENALI panelists: Dorothea Gillim, executive producer; Anne Lund, director of curriculum and content, PBS KIDS and Ready To Learn; Dewey Hoffman, indigenous and engagement outreach adviser; and Ed Ulman, general manager of Alaska Public Media
