Are you having trouble getting community
funding dollars or great collaborative partners?
Are you tired of starting from scratch every
time you approach someone new? Does upper
management want "numbers" or "a great story"
to take to the legislature or Friends Board - at
  the last minute?

Maybe you need to think about how to strut
  your stuff better.
On this professional
development call, Ann Wilder (bio) of NCO
Engage will nudge you into thinking about
  outreach promotion differently.

Anne Wilder
Station Relations / Communications Manager
e-mail:
anne(dot)wilder(at)ncoengage.org
phone: 608-265-513
Anne has been on a mission for the last year to help stations tell more powerful stories about themselves.  She looks forward to sharing the ideas and techniques she’s picked up along the way.

Anne writes most of what you read from the NCO, including e-newsletters, reports and Web copy. She works closely with station personnel to collect information about community engagement efforts, transforming it into stories of impact and models of best practices.

Contact Anne concerning:

  • Updating the NCO about community engagement activities
  • Brainstorming ways to "get the word out" about the impact of activities
  • Finding out more about what other stations are doing
