BAGPIPES CALLING! – an uplifting film celebrating local musicians, and the people and places that make them feel at home. The film celebrates the Celtic spirit – as it lives on through the members of a lively bagpipe band from Long Island, N.Y. Weaving together music, history and culture, the film captures a behind the scenes experience of life in the band during its most festive season. Hosted by Andrea Wozny (musician and the film's director), the film features the extraordinary talent of Luke Powers on the Uilleann (Irish) pipes and the Great Highland Bagpipes, Tom Falco on guitar, Long Island's own Northport Pipe & Drum Band, and the beloved owner of the Grey Horse Tavern, Linda Ringhouse.
