We offered a pair of tickets to a studio concert in June   at $120 a pair. Big success – we sold out the studio, (300 people).   Maura Daly Phinney, KPBS/San Diego   Take it from a long-time guitar player...Tommy is one of those gifted guitarists   that makes you want to sell your guitar... He is so extraordinary as a player and     performer, all you have to do is reach the players in your audience and it should   work for you...with tickets of course...   We have him coming for a concert in July. He has performed several Living-Room   concerts for the radio program Echoes, that's where I offered the tickets (I'm in FM      pledge right now). He is definitely the guitar players, guitar   player. You cannot watch him and not be in awe. When he was here last fall he   received about 10 standing ovations during the show. He engages the audience   like not many artists can. Neill, Vermont Public Television   HERE'S VPT's Promo:     Tommy Emmanuel Center Stage in a 1.5 hour footprint (3 breaks) raised $25,951   for a DPM of $858.36. Definitely rates a 5.   This is all about tickets, as only 7 donors opted for the DVD and 12 for the   DVD/CD set. The rest went to tickets to see Tommy live at KVIE in July.   In hindsight we could have asked for more for the tickets, because they all went   during the show. We offered the pair of tickets and a DVD of footage from that    live show in July for $300 (the producer is taping for a possible future show).   Once we realized how well it was going, we did an ad lib for $1000 with   guaranteed front row seating.
