Dr. D.F. Arnold has a hard-won passion for empowering people to find and develop their unique purpose. In his position as the director of the Laker Academic Success Center at Grand Valley State University, Arnold has spent years instilling confidence and motivation in athletes, professionals, and organizations. He will recount the importance of education in his story of personal struggle and triumph as the keynote speaker at the 2019 NETA Conference on Wednesday morning January 23 at the Marriott Downtown at City Creek in Salt Lake City.
Damon Arnold (Ph.D., education administration from Washington State University) works with the National Football League’s Rookie Transition Program, the league’s onboarding program for drafted and undrafted rookies. He has been a facilitator at NCAA leadership conferences, and a panelist on discussions concerning the state of public schools. Dr. Arnold is the author of several books, including “The PyramIT of Purpose,” the motivational “Doc’s Daily Dose,” and the children’s superhero storybook “I AM/Mirror Mirror.”
