How NETA connects your program to every station:
- We send your complete program information ("the program offer") to every station in the system -- all 350+ -- via PBS Connect Forums, the proprietary PTV information system.

- We make your program information available through the NETA online program catalog, for programmer reference throughout the rights period.

- We alert all stations to scheduling opportunities for your program, such as national "theme" months, days of observance, et c.

- We include your program in the satellite feed schedules used at every public television station.

- We promote your program in a timely manner on our Website,
on a space-available basis.

Here are more ways to promote your program.

Send a postcard, a press kit, or a letter to the program managers.  We can provide you with pre-addressed mailing labels.
(Sorry, we do *not* share mailing lists.)

Take an ad
in Current, the national biweekly public television newspaper. Their reach is exactly what you need.

Exhibit at meetings.
There are conferences and meetings all year where your program could benefit from exposure.  We can advise you of their schedule. Our own annual meeting, held in January, is an excellent opportunity for program promotion.

Post pictures.
Send us your copyrighted images as electronic files and we'll post them on our Web for stations to download and use on their Webs and in their program magazines.  (See guidelines.)

Get professional help.
We can recommend stations relations professionals for hire, people whose time and expertise can yield terrific program carriage.  Just ask.

We believe that program diversity is public tv's strength.

Stations appreciate being able to download images for use in promoting your program on their Websites and in their program guide magazines.   Please keep these guidelines in mind:

- Each image you provide must have complete copyright
information (name of copyright holder, date) and a brief
cutline or caption for station use.
NB: NETA will not post images without copyright information.

- File type:  Photographic images should be provided as TIFF
or JPG files.  Logos and line art can be sent as GIF or JPEG files.

- Please send image files via CD, or provide us with FTP
information, or  a URL from which they can be downloaded.
  No email.   Thanks!
