              Get to know the Partnership for 21st Century Skills
   

The Partnership for 21st Century Skills is a leading advocacy organization focused on infusing education with 21st century skills. It encourages schools, districts, and states to advocate for this infusion, and provides tools and resources to help facilitate and drive change. (Mission)
   
The organization brings together the business community, education leaders, and policymakers to ensure every child's success as citizens and workers in the 21st century. (See their members list.)

Babs Bengtson is Director of Educational Services at Penn State Public Broadcasting where she is leading a team to developing digital, multimedia materials for the K-12 classroom.  Penn State Public Broadcasting is partnering with WGBH/Boston and WLVT/Allentown on their datacasting project.  Babs has over 20 years experience in education, winning national awards in instructional design and for her research.  She has worked for a variety of companies, including US Airways and Ford Motor Company, where she gained international instructional design experience.  Bengtson created and managed her own company, Bridge Builders, for several years before joining Penn State University full time.
       
    

Laura Hunter is Director of Instructional Services for Utah Education Network and Station Manager for KUEN-TV, a statewide educational technology collaborative serving K-12, higher education, and public libraries.   She taught 8 years in an elementary gifted/talented magnet school, and was the State Internet Specialist for the Utah State Office of Education.  Laura is a seasoned presenter on educational technology topics and has held several board positions with national organizations, including PBS Teacher Advisory Board, CPB Education Consortium, and the first MarcoPolo Training Cadre. 
 
Nan Linde is an Interactive Media Specialist with the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board.  Her primary role is the Datacast project director for Wisconsin’s K12 school districts.  Nan joined ECB after working over 25 years in Information Technology at several Wisconsin agencies.
