    2. “Shape and Form” shows how lines make the shapes that define objects in paintings.  African-American artist Horace Pippin demonstrates his painting technique. (14:50)
     
    3. “Color” explains primary, secondary, and intermediate colors, demonstrates color mixing, and includes a visit with artist Georgia O’Keefe and a music video. (14:50)
      
    4. “Value” reveals the unlimited palette of colors produced by tinting and shading and uses a Rembrandt painting to illustrate dramatic use of value. (14:50)
      
    5. “Texture” shows that texture can be felt or implied in the visual arts, and abstract artist Jackson Pollock demonstrates his splatter technique. (14:50)
