No Child Left Behind

   March 2003 - Professional Development Call
  
  The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) legislation has earmarked
  funds for Reading First, Teacher Recruitment; post-
  secondary education; Limited English Proficient Students
  and more.
        

  John Lawson, president and CEO of the Association of
  Public Television Stations (APTS) was our guest.  Mike
  Thompson, chair of the ESEA coordinating committee and
  Neah J. Lohr, director of instructional media technology,
  both from the Wisconsin Department of Public
  Instruction, led a discussion aimed at helping us learn
  more about these new funding possibilities.
