As public broadcasting
  evolves into public media,

and as educators P-16 endeavor to incorporate technology and media into all
of their instructional strategies, public broadcasting's educational services can
no longer do business as usual.

In response to the changing world, some NETA member stations are re-thinking
and re-tooling themselves. Their services have noticeably reorganized for greater
measurable efficiency, cost-savings, and/or stronger market position. The NETA
Education Center wishes to recognize the newly established service models that
are effective, efficient, sustainable, with an award of innovative enterprise.
