PUBLIC TELEVISION’S BEST WORK
APPLAUDED AT NETA 2008

(January 24, 2008 – Columbus, OH)  The National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) honored twenty-four public broadcasters with awards Friday on stage at The Columbus Hotel. In all, forty trophies in the areas of program production, promotion, outreach, and instructional media, were awarded.  The celebratory presentation was part of NETA’s annual conference, held this year in Columbus, Ohio.

  

The judges selected two endeavors for special recognition as 2007’s “Best of the Best”:
       - On the Frontline: Nebraskans at War in Iraq in program production,
